NATCHEZ — Services for Cornelius Aaron, 93, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marshall Funeral Home Natchez Chapel.
Burial will follow at Gospel Temple Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Aaron was born April 17, 1923, in Colfax, La., the son of Dave Aaron and Telia Smith.
He loved to garden and watch old westerns. He was a farmer and a cattleman. He also retired from T.L. James Company after 38 years of dedicated service in road and highway construction.
Mr. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Aaron; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include four children, Mary Williams of Muskegan, Mich., Stacey and Tracey Wright, both of Natchez, and Kelvin Aaron of Jackson; three grandchildren, Erick Harper, Brion Harper and Kayla Wright; one brother-in-law, Zenater Wright; two nieces, Mikala Perry-Grimes and husband, Reginald, and Doris Perry and husband, Otis Perry III; two nephews. Otis Perry and Mark Perry and wife, Karen; and a number of other relatives and friends.
He was a cherished father to his children and loving papa to his grandchildren.
