LAKE ST. JOHN — Services for Doris Marie Hines Scott, 62, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at Riverland Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Baptist Church in Lake St. John, with the Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.
Burial will follow at Consuella Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Scott was born Sept. 3, 1954, in Ferriday, the daughter of Henry Hines Sr. and Shirley M. Thomas Hines.
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Scott; her father ; mother-in-law, Johnnie Lee Scott; three brothers, Henry Hines Jr. and wife, Toni, Gerald Phillips and wife, Debra, and Joseph Phillips; devoted cousin, Betty Beverly; three sisters-in-law, Wanda Carter, Diane Saul and Erma Scott; one stepson, Ernest Johnson; one brother-in-law, Larvon Scott; one special niece, Alisha Hooper; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
