NATCHEZ — Services for Natalie A. Cheeks, 59, of Los Angeles, who died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at her residence, will be noon Saturday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.  
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. Cheeks was born Jan. 25, 1957, in Natchez, the daughter of Charles Groom and Sarah Groom.
She was a nurse.
Ms. Cheeks attended Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Perkins and two brothers, Fleming Groom and Kenneth Smoot.
Survivors include her parents; one daughter, Bria Cheeks; one grandson, Aden Joyner; two sisters, Patrice Groom and Krystal Groom; two brothers, Patrick Groom and Chris Groom; and one brother-in-law, Leon Shorter.
