NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Taylor, 77, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ in Sibley with the Rev. Dywon Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. Taylor was born June 11, 1939, in Baltimore, the son of William A. Taylor and Eunice Taylor.
He attended the Baltimore public schools. He was a painter.
He always enjoyed working, being with his friends and watching television.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, William Jr., Wendell, Richard, Stephen and Raymond Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Bobby Taylor-White; two daughters, Robin Taylor of Natchez and Betty Taylor of Baltimore; one son, Anthony Taylor; two sisters, Linda Smith and husband, James, and Yvonne Barnes of Baltimore; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Adell Noble, Leroy Alexander, Keith Pollard, Roosevelt Cade and Alexander Ellis.
