NATCHEZ — Services for Annie Ruth Curtain Perry, 89, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Paul McElroy officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Perry was born July 22, 1927, in Buffalo, the daughter of Grover Cleveland Curtain and Eleanor Netterville Curtain.
She was a devoted wife and exemplary mother and grandmother. Mrs. Perry was a founding member of the 61 South Church of Christ, where she also taught Sunday school. She loved to fish, cook and sew. She was loved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Francis Perry; and one son, Dwight Perry.
Survivors include her one daughter, Frances Perry Patti and husband, Frank, of Natchez; seven grandchildren, Kristi Swaggart Obsitnik and husband, Rick, of Chattanooga, Tenn., LaChelle Perry Vanderhaden and husband, Dan, of Tampa, Fla., Lydia Swaggart O’Quinn and husband, Jeffrey, of Brandon, Shawn Perry and wife, Brandi, of Houston, Timmy Swaggart and wife, Shonda, of Pearl, Tony Patti and wife, Laura Lee, of Hammond, La., and Bradley Patti and wife, Jess, of Denham Springs, La.; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Curtain McKinney of Natchez and Ruby Curtain Reagan of Summit; and one daughter-in-law, Lynn Perry-Douglas of Natchez.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Swaggart, Shawn Perry, Jeffrey O’Quinn, Rick Obsitnik, Frank Patti and Kevin M. Smith.
Memorials may be made to 61 South Church of Christ in Natchez.
