NATCHEZ —Services for Minnie Mae Carlock Mullins, 91, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Promise Hospital of the Miss-Lou, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Ellisor officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ms. Mullins was born on Aug. 15, 1925, in Franklin County, the daughter of Everett Carlock and Ella Idora Ford Carlock.
She was a long time member of Morgantown Baptist Church.
Ms. Mullins was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rayford H. Mullins; six brothers, Robert F. Carlock, Arnold Carlock, Alton C. Carlock, Parley H. Carlock, Floyd L. Carlock and Ray E. Carlock; three sisters, Maude Mitchell, Lois Halford and Gladys Zumbro.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Mullins Hurst of Headland, Ala., and Peggy Mullins Wisner and husband, Greg, of Natchez; five grandchildren, Faith Ellisor and husband, Bobby, of Prattville, Ala., Kim Taylor and husband, Alan, of Gordon, Ala., Alan Estes and wife, Mamie, of Dothan, Ala., Chance Earnest and fiancée, Mandi Fulgham, and Brittany Jolly and husband, Adam; 11 great-grandchildren, Justin and Taylor Blocker, Matthew Ellisor, Gary and Brooke Harbert, Destinee, Brock, Kendall and Bridgett Estes, and Colton and Cody Earnest; and two great-great grandchildren, Colby Blocker and Gage Harbert.
She is also survived by her precious fur-baby, Chloe.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Blocker, Doug McAllister, Billy King, John L. Sullivan, Adam Jolly and Alan Taylor.
