NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Melba Marie Landers, 87, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Christus Highland Hospital in Shreveport, La., will be 2:30 p.m. today at the Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Baker officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Landers was born Feb. 10, 1930, at Russellville, Ark., the daughter of William D. Baker and Letha Raney Baker.
She was a housewife and former active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, C.C. “Duke” Landers.
Survivors include four sons, Chris Landers, David Landers, Mark Landers and Danny Landers; three daughters, Brenda Bowden, Cindy Craft and Jill Goldman; 15 grandchildren; and11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Goldman, Mayo Craft, Ethan Craft, Roper Craft and David Tate.
