The Franklin County High School’s girls basketball season has come to an end.

New Site made 15 free throws compared to Franklin County’s five to edge out the Lady Bulldogs 47-41.

Jasmine Treadway and Shamiah Amos led Franklin County (23-5) with 10 points apiece. Autumn Covington chipped in with nine points and also handed out six assists.

Franklin County shot 9 of 18 from the floor in the first half, but followed it up with an 8 of 21 performance in the second.

New Site made just 29 percent of its first-half field goals, but shot 41 percent in the third and fourth periods.

New Site (24-9) led at the half 25-21.
