NATCHEZ — Services for Shirley Ann Evans King Green, 66, of Natchez, who died, Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m Monday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Keywon Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Ms. Green was born June 14, 1950, in Adams County, the daughter of Metcalfe Jr. and Arnetter Gultry Evans.
She was a graduate of the class of 1968.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Ursula Renee King; one son, James Evans King; two sisters, Barbara E. Jackson and Betty E. McDonald; one grandson, Gershon Mason; and one niece, Felica “Bert” Evans.
Survivors include three beloved daughters, Loretha Clark and husband, Roger, Eric King and her companion, Frankie Robinson, both of Minneapolis, Minn., and Nya Green of Natchez; three beloved sons, Alex King of Minneapolis, Jeremy Green and Tremaine Green, both of Natchez; five sisters, Claudia Evans, Linda E. Ross and her husband, Oliver, Sandra E. Bruce, Angela Evans, all of Natchez, and the Rev. Connie E. Taylor and her husband, the Rev. Donnie Taylor of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, the Rev. Tommie Evans Sr. and Willie Evans Sr., both of Natchez; one daughter in-law, Carol King; three aunts, Maggie Evans, Carrie Evans, all of Natchez, and Mary Flourney of Chicago; eight granddaughters, Alexis Vanderson, Chgnera Strauder, Urykah Robinson, Jamesa Robinson all of Minneapolis, Allison King, Sheneitra Glover, Ryvonda Dunlap and Lasandra Warner, all of Natchez; six grandsons, a special grandson Lance King, Trace Strauder, Jamar Boone, all of Minneapolis, Alex King Johnson, Lawrence Warner and Trenton Warner, both of Natchez; special friends, Janet Lee and Sandra Smith; a special daughter, Robye Richardson; 14 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
