NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Gerald Fredrick “Jerry” Mizelle, 79, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 3, 2017, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Janet and Pete Mills officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mizelle was born Nov. 25, 1937, in Moss Point, the son of Jesse Fred Mizelle and Minnie Dixon Mizelle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donnis Mizelle Sr.; and one sister, Virginia Case.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Eidson; Linda’s children, Ralph Eidson and wife, Nina, Ginger Martinez and husband, Buster, and Johnny Eidson and wife, Jennifer, and their families; one sister, Evelyn Halford; one niece, Debra Landry and husband, Tom; one nephew, Kenny Wayne Halford and wife, Nora, and their children, Hunter Halford, Sarah and Maggie Landry; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mizelle is also survived by a special pet, Holly.
