NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Jim Theman Huff Sr., 92, of Lake St. John, who died Monday, March 6, 2017, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ferriday, will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Natchez National Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Webber officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Mr. Huff was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Catchings, the son of Benjamin Franklin Huff and Azoline James Huff.
He retired after more than 50 years of farming.
Mr. Huff also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jim R. Huff Jr.; six brothers, Howard, Curtis, Claude, Sam, Ben and Daye Huff; and three sisters, Jewell Thomas, Myrtle Tucker and Vida Dawkins.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Patsy Huff; three sons, Benjamin Wayne Huff Sr. and wife, Lynn, of Lake St. John, John Daye Huff of Natchez and Patrick Curtis Huff of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
