ROXIE — A memorial service for Jimmy Halford, 62, of Natchez, who died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at Midway Camp in Roxie.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Mr. Halford was born Jan. 24, 1955, in Natchez, the son of Riley and Eddie V. Myers Halford.
He was a lifelong avid hunter and fisherman. His happy place was the outdoors. He was a family man and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Mr. Halford was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, William and Bulah Halford and Ernest and Pernie Arnold; and one sister, Elaine Rouse.
Survivors include his wife, Evonne O’Neal; seven children, Michael Halford and wife, Holly, Marc Halford, Joshua Halford and wife, Kim, Grace Halford, Rachel Halford, Danelle Boothe and husband, Aric, and Jake Jacobs and wife, Kelly; nine grandchildren, Dylan Halford, Kody Halford, Haley Halford, Blayne Duck, Taylor Halford, Gunner Halford, Sophia Jacobs, Christopher Boothe and Annabelle Boothe; one sister, Barbara Bienvenue and husband, Ben; one brother, Glen Halford; and a number of other relatives and friends.
