GLOSTER — Services for Verna Mae Harveston, 77, longtime resident of the Rosetta community, who died Thursday, March 9, 2017, at her daughter’s residence in McComb, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Foreman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rosetta Cemetery near Crosby under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday, both at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harveston was born July 11, 1939, the daughter of Walton Arnold and Eunice Sturdivant Arnold.
She was preceded in death by one son, Glynn Harveston; her parents; and two brothers, Arlee and Jackie Arnold.
Survivors include six children, Daniel Lopez, Rhonda Lopez, Nancy Whitaker, Tony Lopez and wife, Stephanie, Alton Harveston and Lynn Jordan and husband, Billy; 13 grandchildren, Misty Lafontaine, Tabitha Vanderford, Carrie Delaney, J.R. Whitaker, Chris Whitaker, Anthony Lopez, Adriane Lopez, Chasity Harveston, Jacey Harveston, Kelsey Codding, Kayla McDowell, Kymberli McDowell and Karli McDowell; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen Ferrebee.
