NATCHEZ — A memorial service for Betty Gray Washington, 65, of Natchez, who died Monday, March 6, 2017, at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott officiating.   Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Ms. Washington was born Nov. 6, 1951, in Natchez, the daughter of Belby and Amelia Whiting.
She was preceded in death by her mother; one son, Mack Washington Jr.; and one nephew, Kendrick Gray.
Survivors include one daughter, Amelia Jones; two sons, Cornell Whiting and Arthur Richardson III; her father; three brothers, Belby Gray, Charles Gray and W.D. Whiting; one aunt, Clara Gaylor; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
