FAYETTE — Lucian Noble Sr., 88, a lifelong resident of Fayette, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, after a brave fight to recover from a June 2016 automobile accident.
Mr. Noble was born June 4, 1928, in Fayette, the son of Felix Randolph “Pete” Noble and Sophie Bland Noble.
He was the youngest of three siblings who preceded in death, Felix Randolph Noble, Max Noble and wife, Mary Ruth, and Dorothy Noble Malik. He also had one son to precede him in death, Lance Smith.
Survivors include three children, Lucian Noble Jr. of Fayette, Adele Noble Phillips and husband, Harry, of Hattiesburg, and Kevin Noble and wife, Renee, of Caseyville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
