FERRIDAY — Services for William Lee Davis, 19, of Ferriday, will be 1:15 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church, 305 Lake Drive in Ferriday with the Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis was born in Monroe, La. He was a senior at Ferriday High School where he participated in football and track. He was a member of Rosehill Baptist Church where he served as an usher.
Survivors include his mother, Vicky Allen Harris and husband, Gene Harris, who raised him as his own son; one sister, Maya Harris, all of Ferriday; one brother, Xavier Allen of Dallas; two stepsisters, Shanell and LaKeitha Harris, both of Little Rock, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Leatrice Allen of Ferriday; two best friends, Derien Barber of Clayton and D’Coven England of Ferriday; and the Ferriday Trojans football and track teams, his classmates, class of 2017, his teachers, a number of friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
