Downtown is the place to be this weekend

This weekend will be a fun time to be in downtown Natchez.

For the second year in a row Natchez will host some of the world’s most fabulous cars and motorcycles as the Natchez Euro Fest Classic European Auto and Motorcycle Show rolls into town Saturday.

The show will feature more than 100 classic European cars and motorcycles for the crowd’s viewing pleasure.

The impeccable and vast array of automobiles on display is rarely seen in such close proximity to one another, making the event even more rare.

What’s more special is the event is free of charge and the public is invited to participate.

The show begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 5 p.m. and will be on the Natchez bluff at the bicentennial grounds adjacent to antebellum Rosalie.

If by some chance cars and motorcycles are not your things, head over to Main and Franklin streets where downtown merchants are working to revive the Second Saturday tradition.

Live music, shopping, food and more will be on tap at the event.

The weather forecast looks beautiful so it is certainly not a weekend to sit indoors, but a great weekend to go outside and explain the great things going on downtown.
