FERRIDAY — Services for Johnny Ray “Johnny Boy” Wright, 60, of Ferriday, who died Monday, April 10, 2017, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Reed Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Wright was born May 5, 1956, in Ferriday, the son of Ernest Beverly and Alberta Wright.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother of Ferriday; two sisters, Luvenia Walter of Ferriday and Marjorie Wilkerson and husband, Lionel, of Zachary, La.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
