Mickey and Tanya Jenkins announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Jenkins to Daniel Martin, son of Danny and Theresa Martin, all of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be attended Vidalia High School and is employed by McDonough’s Wines and Spirits in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Roy and Charlotte Nugent of Ferriday, and the late Andrew and Bettie Withers and the late Jasper Jenkins.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is employed by Helmerich and Payne Drilling Company.

He is the grandson of Catherine Martin of Bossier City, La., and Lucile McManus of Pollock, La. He is also the grandson of the late Howard McManus and the late Hollie Dee Martin.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Rifle Point Hunting Lodge in Ferriday.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
