Block softball falls on road to LaSalle

The Block Lady Bears saw their season come to an end as they lost to the top-seeded LaSalle Lady Tigers 15-0 in four innings Thursday afternoon in the regional round of the LHSAA Class 1A Playoffs.
“We played good through three innings. In the bottom of the third, it fell apart,” Lady Bears head coach Bo Sproles said. “We helped them out.”
Taylor Snow held No. 16 seed Block to three hits. Carial Crumpton and Kastacia O’Steen each went 1-for-2 while Shir’Cold Bowman was 1-for-3.
The Lady Bears finished with an overall record of 6-18.
