NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Frances Guilbeau Godbold, 95, of Dallas, and formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Highland Spring Senior Living in Dallas, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Nance Hixon officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will follow the services at Dunleith Historic Inn.
Mrs. Godbold was born June 9, 1921, in Grand Coteau, La., to Dr. Felix C. Guilbeau and Alice Brooks Guilbeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ferd S.Godbold ll; two sisters, Clem Lowery and Alice Guidroz; and one brother, Felix C.Guilbeau.
Survivors include, one son, Ferd S. Godbold lll and wife, Penny, of Lewisville, Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher Godbold of Richmond, Texas, Melissa Goldbold of Keller, Texas, Jennifer Goldbold of Plano, Texas, and Emily Godbold of Dallas; one niece, Alice Lowrey Robinson of Lafayette, La.; two grandnieces; and two grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Methodist Church in Natchez or to a charity of choice.
