(UPDATE) Officials: Ferriday Junior High bomb threat a false alarm

FERRIDAY — Both the Ferriday Junior High and Ferriday Upper Elementary campuses were evacuated today after a bomb threat was called in at the junior high.

Ferriday Police report the bomb threat came in at 2:08 p.m. and the building was cleared at approximately 5 p.m.

Ferriday Jr. High and Ferriday Upper Elementary schools are next to each other on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
