Cathedral 8th grader finishes in top 10 at state golf meet

Chase Kaiser shot a 79 Tuesday at the MAIS golf state championships, good enough to secure a ninth place finish.
The Green Wave eighth-grader was +8 through the first holes, before finishing the final 10 at -1.
“I was proud of the way he hung in and finished the round,” Cathedral golf coach Kurt Russ said.
