Natchez High School’s Kirdis Cark roared past Saltillo’s Erin Ford Monday, 6-1, 6-2, but the Lady Bulldog senior fell in the quarterfinals Tuesday to Oxford’s Anne Grace Jones, 0-6,0-6 in the MHSAA Class 5A tennis championships.

Natchez’s Raheem Givens reached the Round of 16 but was knocked in boys singles competition by Oxford’s Bo Nash Monday.

The mixed doubles tandem of Vincent Bonds and Carlee McNealy also reached the final 16, but the duo lost to Pascagoula’s Omega Davidson and Bryce Gordon.
