Absentee voting under way for school bond referendum

NATCHEZ — Absentee voting for the May 23 Natchez-Adams School District $35 million school bond referendum will continue through Saturday for those who want to cast ballots in person at the Adams County Circuit Clerk’s Office at 124 S. Pearl St.
Circuit Clerk Eddie Walker said his office would be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday for those who want to cast an absentee ballot.
Walker said as of Thursday evening 120 ballots have been cast in the referendum.
“It is a good start,” Walker said.
The school bond referendum is May 23.
