WOODVILLE — Services for Lydianne M. Johnson, 80, of Woodville, who died Sunday, May 14, 2017, in Baton Rouge, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Larry Andrews officiating.
Burial will follow at Johnson Family Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Johnson was born Jan. 6, 1937, the daughter of Fenimore J. Johnson and Olivia B. Johnson.
She received her bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southern University.
She was also a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. She enjoyed the youth, shopping and cooking.
Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Freddie Sr., Alfonse Sr., Larry and Darryl; and three sisters, Evalena White, Annie Stewart and Olivia Belle.
Survivors include three brothers, Fenimore Johnson Jr. of Austin, Texas, Charles E. Johnson of Woodville, and Moses L. Johnson of Forest City, Ark.; four sisters, Gladys Williams of New Orleans, Mae Ruby Johnson and husband, Harry, Gwendolyn Farris and husband, William Sr., all of Baton Rouge, and Oria L. Houston of Shreveport, La.; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
