MEADVILLE — Services for Eula Wilda Rae Wilkinson Smith, 90, who died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Franklin Memorial Hospital with her loving family be her side, will be 2 p.m. today at Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville with Mickey Myers officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Smith was born July 2, 1926, the daughter of Claude Wilkinson and Julia Cothern Wilkinson.

She was a retired ward clerk after a number of years of employment with Humana Hospital. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers. She devoted her life to loving and raising her daughters and grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Kelly Smith; an infant daughter, Linda Ann Smith; one sister, Bernice Smith; and one brother, Lanis Wilkinson.

Survivors include four daughters, Judy Smith and Marie LaCour Rogers of Magnolia, Jane Anderson and husband, Roy, of Meadville, and Janet Goldbach and husband, Mike, of Natchez; three grandchildren, Lyndsey Kimball, Jamie DuBose and Virginia Rae Wilson; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of family and friends.
