Sue Hillman Pardue

PINEVILLE, La. — A memorial service celebrating the life of Sue Hillman Pardue, 80, of Pineville, La., who died Monday, June 5, 2017, at Camelot Leisure Living in Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hixon Brothers Chapel in Pineville.   

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pardue was an avid bowler and was a member of the Alexandria Women’s Bowling Association. She was employed by Ray’s Refrigeration and retired after a number of years of service. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Pardue was preceded in death by one grandson, Stafford Weston Pardue; her parents, Benjamin F. and Ruby Holt Hillman; and two sisters, Kay Frances Hillman Delaney and Jeanette Hillman Huckabee.

Survivors include one son, Craig Stephen Pardue and significant other, Janice Bruce; two daughters, Penny Pardue Delaney and husband, Randy Paul, and Carla Pardue Thompson and husband, Don; six grandchildren, Paul Delaney and wife, Desiree, Nicole Delaney, Louis Thompson, Sam Thompson and Leslie Pardue; one great-granddaughter, Salem Delaney; three brothers, Benjamin F. Hillman II, William Stafford Hillman and Joseph Gregory Hillman; three sisters, Marilyn Joyce Johnson, Donna Marie King and Deborah Elizabeth Gueringer; a special sister-in-law, Nell Pardue; and a number of other family members and friends.

The family has designated St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101, for memorial contributions.
