VIDALIA — Services for Cora White Dixon, 67, of Vidalia, who died Monday, June 5, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Dixon was born Jan. 12, 1950, in Natchez, the daughter of Dan and Margie Chatman White.

She retired from the University of Chicago as a coder.

Ms. White was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Dan White, James White, Leonard White, Willie White, Dorothy White, Irene White and Orma Jean James.

Survivors include one daughter, Yolanda Brown and husband, Eric, of Vidalia; one stepdaughter, Gloria Sheard and husband, Rufus, of Rock Island, Ill.; one brother, Elbert White; one sister, Deirdra Arrington and husband, Rickie, all of Vidalia; three grandchildren, Quaneitra, Quanda and Quintez Brown; three step-grandchildren, Ronald Crawford, Victor McKeal and Shauntaeu Allen; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
