NATCHEZ — Services for Esther Wilson Reason, 69, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 12, 2017, at Merit Health Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Martin Luther King Road, with the Rev. Ernest Ford Sr. officiating.    

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Reason was born April 1, 1948, in Doloroso, the daughter of John and Pearl Wilson.

She was a member of the LF&C Society.

Mrs. Reason was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leroy Wilson, John Wilson Jr. and Robert Wilson Sr.; one sister, Florastine Wilson; and one niece, Mildred Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Freeman Reason; one daughter, Theresa Reason Houston and husband, Roy; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Raykeisha Houston; two great-grandchildren, Ian J. Houston and Jeremiah R. Houston; one sister, Rosemary Reason; three brothers, Milton Wilson and wife, Isabella, James Wilson and Mitchell Wilson; and a number of other relatives and friends.
