BAKER, La. — Services for Byford Leroy Beasley, 73, a longtime resident of Baker, La., who died Friday, June 23, 2017, will be 7 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 6401 Groom Road, in Baker, with the Rev. Howard Turner officiating.
A graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Baker Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mr. Beasley was born March 4, 1944, the son of James R. Beasley and Charlotte Nicholson.
He was a master carpenter, attorney and cemeterian at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Byford was preceded in death by his stepmother, Juanita Beasley; one grandchild, Theresa Brown; one brother, Elvis Nicholson; and one sister, Sharon “2K” Blake.
Survivors include his parents; two daughters, Page Beasley Brown and husband, Randy, and Chandra Beasley Martin; four grandchildren, Jessica and fiancé, Gary, Tyler, Jacob and Cameron; one great-grandchild, Kylie; five brothers, Jim and Ron Beasley, Troy, Claude and Tony Nicholson; one sister, Colleen “Sissy” Koonce; his previous wife, Sandy Quirk Beasley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
