CROSBY — Services for Lorraine Maltby, 81, of Wilkinson County, who died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Crosby with the Rev. Jackie Moulder officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Maltby was born June 27, 1936, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Haynes Barthlemue Netterville and Helen Floyd Netterville.

She was retired from the U.S. Forest Service where she worked in budget and accounting.

Mrs. Maltby was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Lamar Smith, and one daughter, Debra Barlow.

Survivors include one son, Daryl Smith and wife, Lacy; one daughter, Denice Day and husband, Rob; one brother, S.L. Netterville and wife, Myrtle; seven grandchildren, Russell Barlow, Kimberly Barlow, Bradley Barlow, Kelly Reksten, Michael Smith, Bebe Smith and Daryl Ward; and six great-grandchildren.
