NATCHEZ — Services for Florence Butler Mosby, 70, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 3, 2017, at Baylor University in Dallas, will be 2 p.m. today at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Traci Cusic officiating.  

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Mosby was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Natchez, the daughter of Cleveland and Alneter Hunt Butler.

She was a member of Southwood Lodge Baptist Church and a member of the senior choir.

Mrs. Mosby was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; and one sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Butler-McIntyre and Gloria Wesley; two sons, Tyrone Butler and wife, Pamela, and Bruce Sampson and wife, Jolie; two brothers, Cleveland Hunt and wife, Edwrina, and Frank Butler; one sister, Mary Ann Butler; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
