Tuesday, June 27

Tavarres Davis, 23, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $750 minus $30 for completed online drug class. Must pay a fine of $720. Bond set at $10,000.

Lakei T. Green, 33, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced to $15,000.

Travis Javon Johnson, 29, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor malicious mischief. Fine set at $750. Restitution set at $200 to be paid to owner of vehicle.

Preston McGhee, 30, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor malicious mischief. Sentenced to 90 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $750. Restitution set at $800 to be paid to Magnolia Bluffs Casino.

Wanda Lynn Neal, 50, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor credit card fraud. Sentenced to 90 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Ordered to take online classes for theft – 30 days to complete. Fine set at $750. Restitution set at $192.50. Bond set at $10,000.

Derrick Lerell Simmons, 59, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $25,000 to $15,000.

Michael S. Simpson, 35, charged with felony malicious mischief. Failed to appear at preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $5,000.

Nonita Tolbert, 41, charged with shoplifting – over $500 (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Melvin Warner, 30, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting – 1st offense.

Shelia Michell Young, 51, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor aggravated assault —domestic violence. Bond set at $25,000.

Wednesday, July 5

Georgia Irene Chatman, 30, found guilty of two counts shoplifting —first offense. Sentenced to 180 days with 150 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. To spend 30 days in jail on each count. Banned from all Walmart locations on each count. Fine set at $750 on each count. Restitution set at $604 on count 1 and $566.87 on count 2 to be paid to Walmart.

Freddie Dailan Gordon, 19, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files on motion of prosecutor after speaking with victim.

Bartholomew Ward, 57, charged with misdemeanor uttering a forgery. Case dismissed on motion of prosecutor — missed identify.

Jumar Lashan Jackson, 25, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Fine set at $600. Restitution set at $240 to be paid to Lanta Ridley.
