PORT GIBSON — Services for Bertha Reed Noble, 70, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, July 5, 2107, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Christian Fellowship in Port Gibson with the Rev. Randall Burge officiating.   

Burial will follow at McCaa Cemetery in Lorman under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Noble was born March 30, 1947, in Fayette, the daughter of Spencer and Arteal Jackson Reed.

She was a member of Sigma Gamma RHO.

Mrs. Noble was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charles D. Noble; one sister, Florence R. Hollier; and two brothers, Spencer Reed Jr. and Isiah Reed.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Noble; one son, Tony Noble and wife, Pertacious; one sister, Eva Rankin and husband, Dudley; four brothers, Nathaniel Reed and wife, Joyce, Abraham Reed and wife, Evelyn, Simmie Reed and wife, Barbara, and Willie Reed; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
