VIDALIA — Services for Mary Martin, 101, of Vidalia, who died Monday, July 10, 2017, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New St. James Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia City Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Martin was born Aug. 29, 1915, in Vidalia, the daughter of Oscar Martin and Annie Coleman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lena Mason; six brothers, James Martin, Fred Martin, Lawrence Martin, Walter Martin, Matthew Martin and Jerry Washington; one sister, Loella Johnson; one granddaughter, Gwendolyn Gabriel; one grandson, Clyde Mason; one great-grandson, Donovan Seals; and one great-great-grandson, Taveres Seals.

Survivors include a special granddaughter and caregiver, Constance “Connie” Seals of Vidalia; two granddaughters; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other family members and friends.
