VIDALIA — Charles “Chuck” Lindberg Dew Jr., 60, of Vidalia, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at his residence.

The family will have a private family service at a later date.

Mr. Dew was born Dec. 6, 1956, in Ferriday, the son of Charles Lindberg Dew Sr. and Dorothy Butler Dew.

He was a member of Bougere Baptist Church in Deer Park.

Mr. Dew was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Dew Day; two sons, Jeremy Dew and Jordan Dew, both of Colorado; his mother; two sisters, Charolette Rivera and husband, Rudy, and Gayle Hathcox and husband, William, all of Vidalia; one brother, James Dew of New Orleans; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that an offering or donation be considered to Bougere Baptist Church in Mr. Dew’s name.
