MEADVILLE – Services for Khristie Rollins Shoats, 45, of Woodville, who died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at her residence, will be noon today at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Mullins officiating.    

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Ms. Shoats was born Dec. 28, 1971, the daughter of Reginald Rollins and Carolyn Mullins Rollins.

She was employed by Infinity Health Group as a lab technician for Southwest Mental Health Complex. Her love and compassion for the elderly and sick was demonstrated through her work.

Khristie faithfully attended Hopewell Baptist Church where she was active in worship services, vacation Bible school and any other place of ministry she could assist. Khristie was known for her loving smile, pleasant attitude and compassion for others. She dedicated her life to her Lord, her family and bringing joy to the life of others.

Ms. Shoats was preceded in death by one stepsister, Angie Darlene Sumerall.

Survivors include her parents of Natchez; one daughter, Savannah Nugent of Woodville; one son, Colten Nugent of Atlanta; one brother, Bryan Rollins of Monroe, La.; along with a number of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Avants, Mitchell, Christopher Avants, Casey Avants, Linal Rymer and Darren Bayer.

Memorial donations may be made in Khristie’s name to Hopewell Baptist Church, 195 Hopewell Church Lane, Bude, MS 39630.
