Chandra Denise Hunt

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. —  Chandra Denise Hunt, 49, of College Park, Ga., died Sunday, July 30, 2017.         

Chandra was born and raised in Natchez. She later moved to Minnesota, where she attended college. She was employed by Walgreens and Lincare Incorporated for a number of years.

Chandra loved to travel, read and spend time with her family and best friend, Resaee Freeman. She was a giver and loved to help others. She was truly a jokester, loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her smile was warm, her heart was big and her love strong and true.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lucien Fry.

Survivors include two children, Lonnie and Arianna Hunt of College Park; fiancé, Eugene Latimore of College Park; her mother, Daisy Gaines of Natchez; one brother, Alfred Heckard of Minneapolis; one sister, Elodie Hicks and husband, Tim, of Kathleen, Ga.; niece and nephew, Destinee and Jamal Hicks, both of Kathleen; aunt and uncle, Dolores Hutchins and James Heckard, both of Natchez; and two aunts, Beatrice Anderson Green of Fayette and Malanie Heckard of Minneapolis.
