NATCHEZ — Services for Clara Louise “Ma Clara” Ware-Franklin, 86, of Natchez, who died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Merit Health Natchez, will be noon Saturday at True Love Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeffery Franklin officiating.       

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Natchez funeral home chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Franklin was born July 13m 1931, in Adams County, the daughter of Ed and Lillie Pearl Ware.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jessie James Sylvester and John Franklin; two daughters, Thelma Ratcliff and Josephine Franklin; two brothers, Mose Ware and Browse R. Ware; and one sister, Tina Fizgerald.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Minor and husband, Willie; one son, Larry Franklin; one adopted son, Jeffery Franklin; two sisters, Isbelle Gibson and Alberta Selmon; two brothers, Ed Ware Jr. and wife, Daisey, and Monroe Ware and wife, Sarah; one aunt, Beulah Irving; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
