FERRIDAY — Services for Margaret Ann Poole, 73, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, in Ridgecrest, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Christian Rosary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mrs. Poole was born on Aug. 9, 1943, in Adams County, the daughter of Joseph Blatchford Lambert and Anna Crawford Lambert.

She retired from nursing with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and loved reading and traveling to see her kids and grandkids, attending every sporting event possible.

Mrs. Poole was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Cooke Lambert.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Poole; two sons, Richard Allen Poole and wife, Denise, of Lakeland, Tenn., and Jeffery Lambert Poole and wife, Kim, of McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Allison Forrest Williamson and husband, Michael, of Rayville; nine grandchildren, Tyler Poole, Adam Poole, Payton Poole, Justin Poole, Jesse Poole, Brier Williamson, Barnes Williamson, Molly Poole and Kinley Williamson; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Poole and Paxton Poole; and a brother, William Kurtz Lambert and wife, Nancy, of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tyler Poole, Adam Poole, Payton Poole, Justin Poole, Jesse Poole, Brier Williamson and Barnes Williamson.
