COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Chandra Denise Hunt, 49, of College Park, Ga., died Sunday, July 30, 2017.      

Arrangements were under the direction of Georgia Cremation of Fayetteville, Ga.

Chandra was born and raised in Natchez. She later moved to Minnesota, where she attended college. She was employed by Walgreens and Lincare Incorporated for a number of years.

Chandra loved to travel, read and spend time with her family and best friend, Resaee Freeman. She was a giver and loved to help others. She was truly a jokester, loved to laugh and make others laugh. Her smile was warm, her heart was big and her love strong and true.

Chandra was preceded in death by her father, Lucien Fry, and one uncle, Joe Heckard.

Survivors include two children, Lonnie and Arianna Hunt of College Park; fiancé, Eugene Latimore of College Park; her mother, Daisy Gaines of Natchez; four brothers, Alfred Heckard of Minneapolis, Randall Fry of Atlanta, Darris and Jaheem Gaines, both of Natchez; five sisters, Natasha Fry, Angela Davis, Tracy Davis and Constance Gaines, all of Natchez, and Elodie Hicks and husband, Tim, of Kathleen, Ga; niece and nephew, Destinee and Jamal Hicks, both of Kathleen; aunt and uncle, Dolores Hutchins and James Heckard, both of Natchez, and two aunts, Beatrice Anderson Green of Fayette and Malanie Heckard of Minneapolis.
