FERRIDAY — Services for LaKeithsha “Monique” Clemons, 37, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at Merit Health Central in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Clennon Turner officiating.   

Burial will at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Monique was born Jan. 24, 1980, in Ferriday, the daughter of Jerry Neal and Brenda Clemons. She was the granddaughter of Adesta “Peaches” Stevenson.

She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Kamarii Acker.

Survivors include her mother; one daughter, Zaleiiya Acker; one brother, Kerry Brooks; one sister, Natasha Clemons, all of Ferriday; five aunts, Rosie Johnson and husband, Leroy, of Laplace, La., Florida Neal and Sherriann Foster and husband, Paul, all of Ferriday; Glenda Turner of Leesville, La., Linda Johnson and husband, Lehnman, of Los Angles; three uncles, William Cage of Los Angeles, Wendell Cage of Leesville, and Alex Neal of Laplace; one great-uncle, Ernest Clemons of Natchez; one special niece, Journey Clemons of Ferriday; seven nieces and nephews; and a number of nieces, nephews and family friends.
