Franklin County can’t keep up on road against Seminary, 20-0

Jordan Barrett had just 38 yards on 10 carries, but he scored two first-half touchdowns as the Seminary High School Bulldogs defeated the Franklin County Bulldogs 20-0 Friday night.
Seminary’s defense was the star of this game as the host Bulldogs held the visiting Bulldogs from Meadville to just five first downs and 91 yards of total offense. Kalev Robb had the majority of Franklin County’s offense with 83 rushing yards on 14 carries.
Javin Moore put the finishing touches on the shutout with a 40-yard interception return with 3:21 remaining in the game.
Franklin County’s defense did its best to keep the visitors in the game, holding Seminary to 137 total offensive yards and five first downs. Clay Wright led the way with 10 tackles.
Franklin County (0-2) plays at North Pike at 7 p.m. Friday.
