NATCHEZ — Services for Catherine Ratcliff Davis, 86, of Natchez, who died Friday Aug. 25, 2017 at the residence of her daughter, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgantown Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen Wyles officiating.

Burial will be 1:30 p.m. at New Salem Cemetery near McCall Creek under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Davis was born July 31, 1931, in Lincoln County, the daughter of Sam Ratcliff and Cleo Wilson Ratcliff.

She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church. She worked at Merle Normans for over twenty years and in the Alterations Department at Ullmans Department Store and continued doing alterations in her home

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Davis, her parents, and one sister, Pauline Cowart.

Survivors include two daughters: Brenda Mack and husband, Steve, of Florence, and Vera Messer and husband, Keith, of Natchez; one sister: Annie Brent of McComb; one granddaughter: Kelcie Henderson of Natchez; one grandson: Jared Mack of Florence; one great grandson: Zeke Henderson of Natchez; and a niece: Beverly Ann Stewart of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

Pallbearers will be Jack Cupit, Clarence Gray, L. C. Smith. L. J. Britt, Herman Eldridge, and Gary Messer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Benford Ratcliff, Jared Mack and Zeke Henderson.
