Alcorn State will play Florida International on Saturday, but it won’t be in Miami, Fla., the school announced on its athletics Twitter page Monday evening.

It is a strong possibility that Hurricane Irma, a category 5 storm, could impact South Florida later this week and into the weekend.

ASU tweeted that both are “working on finalizing a neutral site this weekend.”

Alcorn State defeated Miles College last week to open its season 50-21.

FIU, meanwhile, lost to Central Florida last week, 61-17.
