Julious Edward Henry

NATCHEZ — Services for Julious Edward Henry, 72, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at his residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at U.S. 61 South Church of Christ with Paul McElroy officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday, both at the church.

Mr. Henry was born Oct. 22, 1944, in Waynesboro, the son of Andrew Henry and Eunice Busby Henry.

He was retired from Ethyl Petroleum Company and also the Mississippi National Guard. Mr. Henry was a song leader at U.S. 61 South Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing and watching sports, especially the Mississippi State University Bulldogs. He graduated from high school early and went to MSU to study agriculture. Mr. Henry was nicknamed “Peewee” throughout his high school football days at Beat Four High School at Waynesboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Tiner; and one brother-in-law, Howard Tiner.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi Wilson Henry; three daughters, Pam New O’Cain and husband, Marc, of Canton, Renee Henry Cornette and husband, Tim, of Natchez, and Heather Henry of Brandon; one son, Bond Henry and wife, Joseanna, of Florida; three sisters, Annette West and husband, L.J., and Judy Hulsey and husband, Herbert, all of Waynesboro, and Barbara Holley and husband, Tommy, of Bryan, Texas; eight grandchildren, Meighan Tosten and husband, Larry, Hanna Smith and husband, Conner, Cameron Henry, Jordan Henry, Bailey Parker, Cailyn Post, Maggie Claire Thomas and Isabella Cornette; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; 10 nieces and nephews; and a number of great-great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Walton Wilson, Larry Tiner, Hal Tiner, Keith Hulsey, Scott Hulsey and William Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Henry, Kevin Holly, Butch King, Kyle Hazlip, Robert Warren and Ed Johnson.
