FERRIDAY — Services for Rosetta Gordon, 88, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. today, at Faithful Followers Evangelistic Ministry in Wisner, La., with the Rev. Kelvin D. Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery.

Mrs. Gordon was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Know, La., the daughter of John Henry and Louvenia Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris Gordon; and one son, Sylvester Gordon.

Survivors include one son, Larrie Gordon; one daughter, Bettie Hunt; one brother, Wilbert Jones; two sisters, Gladys Walker and Gloria Neal; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
