FERRIDAY — Services for Allen Orlando Froust, 80, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with Don Tate officiating.

Burial will follow at Foreman Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Froust was born Dec. 8, 1936, in Jonesville, the son of Guy Brown Froust and Pearl Cagle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Henri Jo Froust; his parents; two brothers, Charles Moon Froust and Floyd Cagle; and one sister, Genevieve Evans.

Survivors include one son, Allen Froust and wife, Vicki, of Columbia, La.; two granddaughters, Shanna Froust and fiancé, Heath Weeks, of Ferriday and Amber Froust of Indiana; one grandson, Allen C. Froust of Ferriday; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Landry and husband, Clyde, of Colorado.

Pallbearers will be Heath Weeks, Matthew Thorpe, Paul Harbor, Ken King, Christ Foreman and Wes Foreman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Ray King, Ronnie Magoun and Warren Enterkin.
