FERRIDAY — Services for Viola Mae Tiffee, 84, of Elkton, Md., formerly of Foules, La., who died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, in Elkton, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel with the Rev. Donald Money and Dana Nelson officiating.

Burial will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tiffee was born March 15, 1933, in Foules, the daughter of Jesse Nelson and Lillie Egloff Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Tiffee; three brothers, Skylar Nelson, Jesse Nelson and Russell Nelson; and one sister, Merion Stogner.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Tiffee Harrington and husband, Bob, of Elkton; three grandsons, Damon Harrington and wife, Megan, of Ruston, La., Brent Harrington and wife, Lesley, of San Antonio, Texas, and Jared Harrington of Elkton; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Huey Nelson and wife, Mary, of Foules; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Damon Harrington, Brent Harrington, Jared Harrington, Johnny Nelson, Kenny Nelson, Stanley Nelson, Chris Zuccaro and Thomas Zuccaro.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Nelson, Bob Harrington, Jimmy Stogner, Joseph Belling and Dr. Herman Gibson.
